Yusef started Al-Jarani Law because he believes everyone, not just the most well off, deserves first-rate representation. Even before becoming a lawyer, Yusef established a non-profit helping to grow small businesses in Chicago, volunteered in refugee camps in France, and organized protests for a number of social causes. In law school, he interned at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and in the school’s Rule of Law, Human Rights, and Criminal Justice Clinics. As an attorney, he recently assisted a struggling mother in family court and tenants facing eviction in housing court pro bono. If Yusef can help someone in need, he will.
